Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsmen Liton Das and Shakib Al Hasan were not selected for the first round of the IPL mini-auction. However, both of them were sold in the second round.
Liton’s base price was Rs 50 lakh. At this price, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought him at the last moment.
On the other hand, Shakib was bought by his old club KKR for a base price of 1 crore 5 million rupees. The world’s best all-rounder has won the title twice for this team.
Liton will play in IPL for the first time this season. This star opener is getting a chance in IPL as the seventh Bangladeshi.
Earlier, Abdur Razzak, Mohammad Ashraful, Mashrafe Bin Mortuza, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mostafizur Rahman got a chance to get a team in the IPL.
