Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana collected metro rail tickets manually. After that, the journey of the metro rail started from Uttara. After that, in a short time, he traveled about 12 kilometers to Agargaon.
The first coach of the Metro Rail carrying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived at Agargaon station on Wednesday at 2:11 PM today.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said there will be separate washrooms for women and a care center for children and urged everyone to use the metro rail neat and clean. She asked commuters not to litter inside trains and at stations.
Earlier, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also said that there will be separate bogey for women but if they wish they can also use other coaches.
There will be no cost for those children who are under 3 feet and freedom fighters will get to ride the trains free of cost.
